Corona Virus Update

Dear Cornerstone Family,

We have spent a lot of time in prayer and preparation for the upcoming weekend. However, in light of the growing national concerns and precautions many organizations are taking as they pertain to the spread of COVID-19 and in response to state officials and the declaration by President Trump to limit large gatherings, the leadership of Cornerstone Church has decided to move to live stream only services for the next two weeks.

This is a great opportunity to gather in your home with your family and worship together as you watch online. Our weekend service will stream Sunday, March 22 and March 29, at 10:30am (CT) and can be replayed any time after that.
We have several different ways to join us online:

Connect Groups will be left up to the discretion of yourself and your Connect Group leader as most of these fall under 10 people. We encourage those who are feeling under the weather or have a compromised immune system to stay home.

Parents, Pastor Jonathan will post a devotional on the Catalyst instagram:  Wednesday, March 18 and 25 at 7pm. Catalyst will still be accepting drop offs this Saturday from 12pm-3pm ONLY to accommodate those who have prepared and cannot store donations for a later time.

The health concerns that are spreading throughout our world right now did not take our God by surprise. He is constantly watching over His children and we have no reason to believe this will change. We still want to encourage you to stand upon 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind.”

We invite you to join us for Corporate Prayer this Saturday morning at 8am. Corporate Prayer will not be streamed but you are welcome to spend the hour praying as a family in your home. We love you, are praying for you, your families’ continued safety, and for all those who have been affected by this virus. Let us all continue to pray for our medical community and those on the front lines.
